On Saturday at 1:44 PM, MFD was paged to a structure fire that had spread to a field on Garnett Road.

A storage shed and a field was destroyed during the fire.

Sunday, at 2:46 PM, MFD was paged to a grass fire on Cherry St. Upon arrival they found several sheds that were on fire. The grass fire had spread quickly with the high winds. Please do not burn as we are under a high fire danger. We are not under a burn ban as it can be safe to burn with common sense. Also, please ensure you have your burn permit before burning.
