Murder Trial 3 pm Update – Sheriff Gober on Finding Vehicle & Missing Boots
July 26th, 2013 by iPhoneSheriff Mark Gober was called to testify, next. He described the events, which have been covered by other testimony up to this point. He then described the situation about Pryor having on boots when he stepped around the back of the mobile, but not when he came back around the front. The Sheriff later found the boots, hidden behind the skirting of the mobile home.
He then described locating the Jeep Cherokee at Pryor’s friends house, and impounding it for a search for evidence in the light of day.
The state’s final witness, a registered sex offender, was brought over from the jail to testify that Pryor had said, “I’m gonna have to kill Charlie,” as they were “just shooting the breeze” at his mother’s house, one day.
The defense attorney went on to point out his testimony as a witness in drug cases and ongoing drug use.
