Friday Update- Missing Man Found in Good Conditions

According to MPD chief Eddy Deaton, the missing 72-year-old man has been safely recovered in good condition.
“Mr Robert Daniels was found safe after a 6 hour search for him. He was located in a field close to his home. It appears that he had walked away from his home sometime around 6am. Officers located him laying in the field in waist high grass. He seems to be doing good and was taken to the hospital to be checked out. I want to thank all involved in the search for Mr Daniels and the good outcome.”

2 pm Update – ADC Search Dogs Looking for Missing Man
Around 1:30, search dogs from the Arkansas Department of Corrections arrived on Cherry Street, assisting MPD in their search for a missing local man.
Monticello Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man.
Robert Daniels, 5’6”, 72 years old, Over 250 pounds, was last seen near Drew Foam on Highway 278 E.
