Man Arrested in Knife Attack

Monticello Police arrested Bryon Green, age 48, Saturday for felony battery.
Officers responded to a Dillard Street residence where officers found a victim who had been cut with a knife on both sides of his neck and chin.
Witnesses identified Green as the attacker, and concerned citizens provided his whereabouts.
Green was taken in to custody a short while later by patrol officers. He is currently in jail awaiting a first appearance.
