Circuit Court Hearing over Election Petitions, this Morning at Courthouse

A “who’s who” of Monticello business leaders has united in legal action asking for a restraining order to keep the petitions, supported by Citizens for Better Monticello Government off of the November election ballot.
The documents were filed in Drew County Circuit Court, Tuesday, and were served on the three County election commissioners, as well as the city and county clerks.
The hearing will take place this morning at the Drew County Courthouse.
