DCSO & Drew Central Hiring School Resource Officer,

The Drew Central school board and the Drew County sheriffs department, in agreement with the quorum court, have agreed to provide a full-time school resource officer to Drew Central schools.
The officer will spend approximately 200 days on campus or with school events. Approximately 2/3 of the expenses would be paid by the school, 1/3 would be paid by the sheriffs department, where the resource officer would also serve as a deputy.
