The August Yard of the Month was awarded to Sonny and Margaret Withers, on Highway 35 West.

The yard was selected by the Town and Country Garden Club, and presented by the Chamber of Commerce.

MLive has confirmed with the district court that the DWI 4, posted below, is being charged as a DWI 2. The reason- the court computer shows the total number of DWI charges against someone, even if they are older than 6 years, which is the maximum that the prosecutor can go back on.
