Offenders deceive and manipulate victims to create sexually explicit material for extortion
purposes.

The FBI wants to warn parents, educators, caregivers, and children about the dangers of online activity that may lead to the solicitation and enticement of a minor to engage in sexual acts. (more…)

10th DTF seize over $22,500 in cash, approximately 9.5 ounces of suspected methamphetamine , 2 firearms, Schedule 4 pills, and Drug Paraphernalia
On November 21, 2023,  agents of the Tenth District Drug Task Force  and ACC Probation and Parole performed a legal search on a residence in Drew County. During the search, agents located a gun, a syringe common for injecting methamphetamine , and a large amount of cash. The occupants in the residence were known felons. (more…)

One of the most confusing areas of Monticello Traffic, aside from the town Square, is E. Gaines St.

When you leave the Square, on E. Gaines St., it is one-lane traffic, with parking spaces on both sides of the street.

When it crosses, Gabbert Street, at the chamber of commerce, THEN it becomes a two-lane highway, without parking places.
