The Drew Memorial Hospital emergency room now is treating over 1000 patients/monthly, for 7 consecutive months. They also have achieved an average service time of approximately 2 hours/patient in the emergency department.

Mainline Health Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Fredy Cordova, MD to the Monticello Mainline Clinic. Dr. Cordova is a family medicine physician and has worked in the medical field for over 30 years.

Dr. Sylvia Simon was recently sworn in by Judge Bynum Gibson, after being reappointed to the Arkansas State Medical Board by Governor Asa Hutchinson for another 6 year term.

She has been on the board since 2009.

Hutchinson’a Arkansas Works program.

The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) today announced that Mainline Health System Inc. of Star City, AR has received NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Recognition for using evidence-based, patient-centered processes that focus on highly coordinated care and long?term, participative relationships. 

The NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home is a model of primary care that combines teamwork and information technology to improve care, improve patients’ experience of care and reduce costs. Medical homes foster ongoing partnerships between patients and their personal clinicians, instead of approaching care as the sum of episodic office visits. Each patient’s care is overseen by clinician-led care teams that coordinate treatment across the health care system.
