The Monticello Area Chamber of Commerce recently recognized Drew County’s graduating seniors who were named “Arkansas Scholars,” with the luncheon at FUMC.

Coach White’s role this past year was Junior High Head Football Coach, High School Defensive Coordinator, assistant boys basketball and assistant track. He was also teaching in our ALE program, Career Orientation, and PE/Health.

“We couldn’t be more excited about him taking the lead of our football program! Coach Gonzales left a strong foundation and I’m confident Coach White will continue to build upon it.” DC AD Michael Goad.

This morning, Drew Central Schools return
to normal schedules, following yesterday’s unplanned AMI day, caused by power failures on campus, that were noticed at 6 AM, when administrators went to work.

Students should remember to bring their completed AMI assignments.

Drew Central Schools will be closed today,  due to a power outage which is expected to last all day.

School will reopen tomorrow as normal.

Students should complete AMI Day 7 assignments or the next one in the packet if Day 7 has already been completed.

Jostens, the leading producer of yearbooks and student-created content, today announced that Drew Central’s yearbook program has achieved the Jostens 2022 National Yearbook Program of Excellence award at the Silver Level. (more…)

Drew Central High School congratulates Survey of Business students for earning their Microsoft Office Certifications in Word and PowerPoint. This is a great achievement for these ninth graders.

Their hard work in study and application in these software programs will certainly lead them to a good future in the workforce and/or further education.
