Effective immediately, there is a burn ban for Drew County. Rather than act too hastily, I have waited until the Arkansas Forestry Commission folks, after monitoring the dryness in the forested areas, evaluated conditions and deemed it necessary. Therefore there is a ban until further notice on any outdoor burning.
