Water outage In Monticello.

Affected areas are: Cooper, Calhoun, Roosevelt, Shelton, Sherwood subdivision, and surrounding streets.

City workers are aware of the problem and working to repair it.

Monticello’s new mayor, Paige Chase, was sworn in Tuesday, and took office, at start of business, this morning.

City Hall will be Closed Tuesday.

Tuesday’s trash route will be run on Wednesday, January 2.

More discussion is planned for next months meeting, specifically own flea market set up selling animals.

The need to have some type of control over cats was also brought up.
