Around 4:30 pm, New Year’s Day, the driver of this Acura lost control of their vehicle while traveling on Oakland Street, near Gabbert.
The impact from the car caused the power pole to snap, wrapping the car with electric wires.
After officers from MPD arrived, the driver fled the scene on foot, and was quickly apprehended, and faces multiple charges pertaining to the wreck.
