Around 8:30, Saturday, Drew County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Monticello Rescue Squad were dispatched to the report of a single vehicle wreck, where the driver was pinned inside of his Dodge pick-up, after striking a large tree.

The driver was northbound and attempted to turn right, when he lost control of the vehicle, and left the roadway.  The wreck occurred at the intersection of Greenhill and Greenhill-New Hope Roads.

The Greenhill area man was transported to Drew Memorial by ambulance, then airlifted to St. Vincent Medical Center in Little Rock.

Dan’s Towing removed the vehicle.
