Although we had snow and ice, yesterday morning , with a very small dusting, late, roads are mostly clear, Friday morning.

Please be aware that there are some slick spots, such as bridges and culverts, and county roads don’t receive sunshine because of shade.

When you drive, please drive safey.

Maxwell Hardwood Night Shift will not work Thursday night.

Night shift will report to work Friday, February 4th, 3 pm – 9 pm.

This vehicle was traveling east towards McGehee, when it lost control on a patch of ice, and went into the southbound ditch of Highway 278.

No one was injured; Drew County Sheriffs Deputies responded,.

Please drive safely, this is the first of what will likely be dozens of ditched vehicles (and wrecker  bills), today!
