MHS Robotics Team Recognized by School Board

The competition is called “VEX Robotics: Nothing But Net”. It was held in Jonesboro at Arkansas State University in December. The MHS team finished in 2nd place and received the “Excellence Award”. That is the highest award presented in the VEX Robotics Competition.

Baby New Year Arrives at DMH

Tuesday, January 5th, 2016

(L to R) are Monteene McCoy, Dr. Kelly Shrum, mother Kenise Bryant holding baby Korneal, father Robert Washington, sister Kamiah, and Leta Taylor, president of the DMH Auxiliary.

The Drew Memorial Auxiliary members presented the family with a goodie basket to celebrate the arrival of the first baby born at DMH in 2016.

Korneal O’Lee Washington was born January 2 at 9:46 a.m., making him the first baby to arrive at Drew Memorial Hospital in 2016. At 8 lbs. 1 oz. and 19 inches long.
