Weevil Football Announces Final Draft of 2022 Schedule, Events and Sponsors Included

The University of Arkansas at Monticello Weevil Football team released its final draft for the 2022 season schedule
. Fans have the opportunity to prepare for another year of Boll Weevil football as they look to take on their Great American Conference opponents this fall.
UAM will play six exhilarating home games at Willis “Convoy” Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium this year. Most of which being match-ups with some of their biggest names in the conference.
The Weevils will begin their 2022 campaign on the road, traveling all the way to Bethany, Oklahoma to take on the Crimson Storm at Southern Nazarene University. The game is set to begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 1. Links to each away game of the year will be provided with a “Watch” and “Live Stats” tab on uamsports.com in the 2022 UAM Football Schedule.
UAM returns to the home turf on Saturday, Sept. 10 for Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day, sponsored by South Arkansas Rehabilitation, and will host Oklahoma Baptist University at 6 p.m.
The Boll Weevils take on Arkansas Tech University for a Parent and Family Day showdown sponsored by Union Bank on September 10 for the final home game of the month. The game is set to begin at 6:00 p.m.
The month of October will be a big one for Arkansas-Monticello as they host three home games with a few big names from the conference. UAM begins the month taking on Northwestern Oklahoma State for their Homecoming Game/Hall of Fame recognition ceremony sponsored by Commercial Bank on Saturday, October 8. They host Harding University on Saturday, October 22 when Military and First Responders Appreciation Day will be celebrated, sponsored by Showcase of Floors. The fifth home game of the year is a match-up with Southeastern Oklahoma State University as UAM holds a Pink-Out, Breast Cancer Awareness Day sponsored by Drew Memorial Health System. All home games in the month of October will begin at 2:00 p.m.
The final home game of the year will be the Battle of the Timberlands against conference rival Southern Arkansas University on Saturday, November 12. The Weevils won this game in bulldoze fashion last year as they took down the Muleriders 73-37 in Magnolia, Arkansas. The final game of the regular season will be a Senior Day/Agriculture Day celebration sponsored by BASF and Mid-South Seed. The game is set to begin at 2:00 p.m.
ALL home games will be broadcasted by Jimmy Sledge on 93.7 KHBM and live streamed on the official UAM Sports YouTube Page.

Fans can purchase their home game tickets upon entrance to Willis “Convoy” Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium.
UAM began sales for the Team Green Package in June, an opportunity for 78 dedicated Weevil/Blossom fans to support all on-campus sports for the 2022-2023 athletic year. The $300 package can be purchased online HERE. All package purchases will benefit the Athletics Performance Center Campaign, and include a chair-back seat for football, volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, and softball.
