UAM School of Business Presents Students With Academic Awards

June 15th, 2026 by

Five students from the School of Business at the University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM) were recently recognized for their academic achievements during the 2025-2026 academic year.

The outstanding students were selected by the UAM business faculty based on their GPA and overall academic performance. Awards were presented at the School of Business’ annual banquet, where students also received an engraved desk plate. Award recipients will have their names, majors and graduation dates displayed on a plaque in the School of Business.

Preston Crow from Monticello, Arkansas, was recognized as the 2025-2026 Outstanding General Business Student.

Jaime Crozier from Warren, Arkansas, was recognized as the 2025-2026 Outstanding Finance Student.

Garrin Gray from Monticello, Arkansas, was recognized as the 2025-2026 Outstanding Management Student.

Emma Green from Rison, Arkansas, was recognized as the 2025-2026 Outstanding Accounting Student.

Jorden Wehr from Frisco, Texas, was recognized as the 2025-2026 Outstanding Marketing Student.

Dr. Marsha Clayton, dean of the School of Business at UAM, congratulated the students, stating, “For several years, the School of Business has recognized outstanding graduates in the accounting major and the concentrations under the business administration major. The outstanding graduates are selected by the faculty in recognition of their academic performance and their contributions to the school, university and community. We are pleased to welcome five 2026 graduates as the newest additions to our School of Business’ outstanding graduates. We wish them, and all of our graduates, the best of luck in their future endeavors.”

Scholarship recipients were recognized at the banquet, as well. Over twenty students were notified of School of Business scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year. “We appreciate our donors’ support for the students and the school, which helps our students achieve their academic goals,” Dr. Clayton said.
