The shooting occurred on Monday of last week, when the suspects left Warren.  Shortly after that, their vehicle was located in Monticello, confirmed by the Monticello Police Department who contacted Warren PD, who took possession of the vehicle. After MPD made contact with one of the suspect’s family members at the residence, both suspects soon turned them in at Warren.

The matter remains under investigation and two suspects have been arrested placed under a $75,000.00 bond each after their first appearance hearing conducted March 17. Bond was set by Circuit Judge Crews Puryear.

Mr. Jones is charged with firearms violations and battery I. Ms. Burns is charged with battery I.

The victim is a resident of Warren and remains in the hospital in central Arkansas in stable condition.
