“There’s a Bomb in my Truck” 911 Call, 1:30 am, Wednesday

At 1:35, Wednesday morning, Monticello 911 received a call from a Crossett man, reporting that he had just entered Monticello and that there was a bomb rigged to his vehicle. If the vehicle stopped, the bomb would detonate. Read the rest of this entry »

Wilmar (Almost) Woods Fire

At approximately 1:30, yesterday afternoon, a grass fire headed towards the woods at South Allis Road’s intersection with Dave Knight Road, southeast of Wilmar, drew response from the Wilmar Fire Department, Drew County Sheriffs office, and OEM.
