No One Has Filed for City Council Seats – Deadline to File Is Monday at Noon.

With only 6 days left to file as a non-partisan candidate for any city office, including mayor, alderman, attorney and clerk, everyone seems to be waiting til the last couple of days.
Here are the salaries, for anyone who may be interested in seeking one of these positions;
Mayor – $2446.30/biweekly
Alderman – $355.35/monthly
City attorney – $1946.56/monthly
City clerk – $355.35/monthly
At this point, no one has filed for any of those races with the County Clerk.
The deadline to file is next Monday at noon.
