Murder Trial Continues with State Crime Lab Experts

This series of articles is in reference to the first degree murder trial of Demarcus Vesey, accused of the death of Robert Mosher, on January 3–4, this year.
The trial is being held in the Circuit Court of the Drew County Courthouse.
Updates will be posted as they take place.
Friday’s session of circuit court began with several experts testifying.
Between 10-10:30 AM, testimony included experts from the crime lab, including a forensic pathologist, an expert on universal coordinated time, a firearms expert(who confirmed that both shell casings came from the same gun).
Other state lab expert testimony from included a latent fingerprint expert and a serologist.
Mosher’s roommate answered one question about the relationship between the victim and the suspect, before the court took break.
