Monticello Mayor Zack Tucker appeared before Circuit Judge Bynum Gibson, Tuesday morning, expected to accept a plea bargain for the charges of tampering with public record and abuse of office.

At the hearing,  Judge Bynum Gibson granted a motion for a continuance of the case, in order to allow Tucker to be able to pay full restitution of the $22,500 plus, instead of the approximate half, which he has now.

If no plea is agreed upon, the next court date for the case will be March 6.
