According to the Arkansas State Police, at 3:05, Wednesday, a 69 year old female, Nancy White of McGehee, lost her life in a car crash on Highway 278 E., between Jenkins store and Airport Road/Highway 35 intersection.

The deceased’s Kia Forte was traveling west, when for undetermined reasons, it crossed into the path of a Mack log truck, colliding with the rear tandems of the empty trailer.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

Note: The deceased is from McGehee, not Drew County Clerk Nancy White.
