According to the Arkansas State Police preliminary accident report, the driver of a Ford was traveling southbound on Highway 425, near the Drew/Ashley county line, yesterday, minutes before 1 PM, when he collided head on with a northbound, unloaded log truck, that was trying to avoid the Ford. At approximately 12:30 PM, Thursday, sources indicate that the driver of the Honda sedan, pictured below, attempted to pull out of the Patriot Truck Stop and entered the highway in front of the northbound asphalt truck, who attempted to swerve to miss of vehicle, but lost control of the big rig and rolled over, dumping his load.

MPD, OEM, and SEEMS responded, although no one was transported to the hospital.

Traffic was diverted into the lanes that were not blocked, as the road was cleared, and fully re-opened, minutes before school traffic.

At approximately 11:40 AM, Tuesday morning, the driver of this dump truck escaped injury when the truck overturned on Loggy Bayou Road, in the eastern section of Drew County, north of Tillar.

DCSO and OEM responded.

Saturday, around 11 AM, the driver of this Ford Ranger pick up lost control of her vehicle on Watt Street, which is known for its narrow lanes and deep ditches.

MPD worked the accident. The driver was uninjured, Reggie‘s Wrecker towed the vehicle.

Last Friday around 6:30 in the morning, the driver of this eastbound Ford lost control of the vehicle and ran off the road way into the tree line on Highway 278 W., just east of the I 530 intersection.

When Drew County deputies arrived, the driver had fled the scene. Rangel towed the wrecked vehicle.

Around 1:45 PM, Thursday afternoon, the driver of this westbound BMW, maintained control, as best as possible, as he was rounding a curve near Bayou Bartholomew on Winchester Road.

The vehicle left the roadway, but did not overturn, when it eventually came to a stop near a farm turn row.

The pick up is a relative, checking on the driver, and was not involved in the accident.

DCSO responded, along with Reggie‘s Wrecker.

The driver was uninjured.

Friday morning, at approximately 5 AM, the driver of this unloaded flatbed 18 wheeler, lost control of his vehicle in a curve, near Rash Cemetery on Highway 35 East.

Collins Cominto fire department responded, along with Drew County Sheriffs‘s, OEM and C&L Electric.

MASI transported the driver to Drew Memorial for medical attention.

Sunday, around 3 PM, the driver of this southbound Jeep lost control of his vehicle in the business area of Highway 425 S., south of the overpass.

Judging by the scene, but not confirmed, it is believed the driver was ejected.,

MPD, OEM, MASI, and Reggie‘s Wrecker responded to the scene.

The driver was transported by helicopter to a trauma center, believed to be in Little Rock, from the DMH helipad.

Around 10 AM, Friday morning, the driver of this Drew County trash truck escaped injury as he was running his Barkada Road route, when the truck was on a soft spot, picking up cans, and rolled over.

MPD, DCSO and OEM responded.

On Thursday, July 27, this concrete truck, based out of Monticello, rolled over on Highway 35 east, near the city limits.

The driver was transported by SEEMS.

MPD, DCSO and OEM responded.

Friday evening, around 7:30 PM, Monticello Firefighters were dispatched to a rollover van accident, where the driver was trapped inside.

The accident occurred near the old Enon school.

Local ambulances, along with drew county sheriffs deputies and OEM responded.

Around dark, on Sunday, July 30, the driver of this southbound Nissan Rogue lost control of the vehicle on Midway Route, causing them to be trapped inside.

Monticello Firefighters responded to free the victims from the Nissan.

DCSO and OEM also responded.

Rods Wrecker removed the Rogue.

At 12:16 AM, Tuesday morning, there was a single vehicle rollover accident on Old Warren Rd. across from the Monticello Track, near MHS, on the way to Drew Memorial Hospital.

The driver of this Jeep Grand Cherokee seems to have been headed west, possibly towards the hospital, when they lost control of the vehicle in a curve,

Responding agencies included Monticello Firefighters, who extricated the two trapped occupants of the vehicle, MPD, DCSO, ASP, OEM, SEEMS, and MASI.

Helicopter medical transport was requested for both of the crash victims.

At 5:45 PM, Friday, there was a three vehicle collision on Highway 425 N., across from the Huddle House.

MPD, MFD, DCSO, and OEM responded, along with local ambulances.

At least, one occupant from the collision was, transported toJRMC, for medical care.

Around 5 PM, Sunday evening, the driver of this Honda was unable to stop the vehicle, due to the brakes not working, and drove into the smoke store on Gaines Street, across from Breaker.

The driver was transported to Drew Memorial for medical treatment. A passenger was uninjured.

At approximately 4:45 PM, Thursday, during the heavy, flooding rains, a Buick Roadmaster collided with an Xterra, hear on, just west of Breaker.

MPD, Rangel Towing, SEEMS, and MASI responded. No one was transported.

Around 10 PM, Sunday night, the driver of this Chevy Silverado joined the long list of vehicle that collided with the “Walmart pole“ next to the gas station.

The driver was transported to Drew Memorial by SEEMS.

The Silverado was removed from the area by Rangel Towing.

Tuesday evening, at 7:38 PM, there was a three vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 425 S. and Old Warren Rd.

Sources at the scene believe that the northbound Toyota pick up crashed into the back of the northbound, Toyota Sequoia, which then spun around colliding with the Toyota Camry, as the Sequoiaoverturned in the southbound lanes of traffic.

MPD, MFD, DCSO, OEM, MASI and SEEMS all responded.

Drivers from all three vehicles, and at least one passenger were transported to Drew Memorial for medical treatment.

At approximately 3:15, Tuesday afternoon, sources at the scene report that the two occupants of this overturned Ford explorer had attempted to pass vehicles, westbound, on Highway 35, near Rash Cemetery.

The vehicle lost control, flipped and came to a stop in the tree bank, on the north side of the road, with both passengers being transported to local hospitals. DCSO, OEM, MASI, and Rods Wrecker responded.

At 6 AM, this morning, a Pontiac was traveling east on Highway 138, driven by local couple.  When they rounded a curve in a farming area, they found an approximately 10 foot long alligator in their lane.

The car struck the alligator, causing damage to the grill area and fenders.

A Drew County Sheriff’s deputy responded to the scene.

The car was able to be driven away.

The alligator was dispatched and removed from the area.
