With last weeks snow and ice gone, here are some images of awnings that collapsed, due to the weight of the ice and snow.

Drew County will attempt to run regular trash routes, starting today. Please have dumpsters moved out of snowbanks, so employees can reach them.

City Hall is open today, and the city is running regular trash routes.

Around 4 PM, Friday the driver of this big-rig flatbed was attempting a turn on Cherry Street, in Monticello, and partially due to the slick roads, had traffic blocked for around an hour.

Many sidestreets in Monticello/Drew County are extremely slick. Please use extreme caution.

Minutes after 7 AM, Thursday, the driver of this 18-wheeler was traveling north in Drew County on Highway 65, north of Tillar.

He lost control of his tractor – trailer in the ice and snow, causing it to roll over.

DCSO and AHP responded. The driver was reportedly uninjured.

Driving conditions are basically the same today as they were yesterday, please use caution or stay home.

Sav-A-Lot plans to be open till 6 PM, weather permitting.

Prescription Pad Pharmacy and City Drug are open today.  Drew County Sheriffs Deputies will deliver medications to your home, if you can’t safely get out to pick them up.

Ray’s will be open until 8 PM, weather permitting.

Chef’s is open normal hours, for lunch and supper.

Sonic will be open 11- 5, today.

Avocados and La Terraza are open today.

Allied Plumbing & Baker’s Electric – Monticello will open Friday at 9am and close at 3pm due to current weather conditions.

Commercial Bank, main branch, drive-through is open 9 AM – 2 PM.

Citizens Bank, Highway 425 north, drive-through is opening at 10 AM-6 PM.

Union Bank main branch is open till 2 PM, today.University branch and Express branch locations will be 10 AM to 2 PM. Saturday hours for these locations will be 10 AM to 2 PM.

Arkansas Superior will be open today from 9 AM until 2 PM.

Simmons Bank drive through is open until 10a-5p, today.

County courthouse and trash routes are closed Friday. Plan to resume normal operations, Monday. Please have your can accessible from the road, out of snowbanks, so workers can reach them.

Monticello Medical Clinic will open from 11 to 4, today. MMC also plans to be open Saturday, 9-3. Everyone stay safe!

Connelley Family Medical is open today for in-house or telemedicine visits, call for an appointment.

Drew County DHS office will be closed today due to the weather.

Drew County Health Unit will be closed today.

Reinhart Family Healthcare will open at 10 AM today for walking-in and tele-med patients.
