Kendall is a regional company, that is best known for assisting Entergy with power line, trimming maintenance and other similar tasks.
Kendall has employees that live in Monticello and work in the region.
Approximately a dozen Kendell vehicles were seen this morning, traveling south to assist storm victims in southeast Arkansas, likely in the Montrose/Portland area.


Monday afternoon, Ashley County was placed under a tornado watch.
A tornado warning was issued later in the evening, followed by a tornado or straight wins (depending on which sources you trust) struck the city of Montrose and surrounding areas.
Up to 10 homes were destroyed; up to 30 other homes were affected in some way,
Sources report that Monttose does not have electricity or water.
Multiple agencies were on the scene, Monday evening, and Tuesday, including the County Judge, OEM, SDEM, Ashley, County Sheriffs & deputies, and Hamburg, Fire and Rescue.
No deaths occurred, and at this point, only one minor injury has been reported.
At 6 AM, road conditions are mostly clear, except for a few locations.
We are told that Winchester Rd., Highway 138, has ice in patches.
A driver also reported that Highway 278, across the Bradley County line, appears to be slick.
We do appreciate ARDOT for their road preparation yesterday, where they were seen on 425 and 278, and likely other state highways, as well.
Drew County OEM’s Caleb Brian reported that no reportable storm damage took place in Drew County, during Tuesday night’s severe thunderstorms.
Monticello dispatch received a call about a tree being down around Plantersville Road, and a local business had a privacy fence blown down, but we are not aware of any other damage that took place.
