The University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM) has suspended the search committee to fill the institution’s director of athletics position. William “Hud” Jackson will serve as the director of athletics and continue in his role as the head football coach at UAM. Jackson has served as the UAM interim director of athletics since July 2021 and head football coach since 2011. (more…)

After the fire, Sunday afternoon, caused by an SUV driving around the lakebed’s tall grass, on the burned vehicle has been removed, and lake access has now been closed, until further notice.

Congratulations to Dorian Allen, Jordan Light, and Keith Wells, Jr.

These outstanding student-athletes signed
National Letters of Intent to play football at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.

Just before 3 PM, Sunday afternoon, Drew County Deputies and the Monticello Fire Department were notified of a vehicle fire, in the lakebed of Lake Monticello. (more…)
