2 Warren men died at the scene of a rollover crash on Highway 278 E., on Monday, September 5, when the driver lost control of the vehicle and they were ejected.
On Friday, September 9, a local lady died from injuries she sustained, when she turned in front of an 18 wheeler, on 425 N. in Monticello.
Monday, September 19, a Drew County man was killed on 425 S., near the race track, when he crossed the center line, striking an oncoming vehicle.
Monday night, a 32 -year-old pedestrian was struck by a car and finally injured, on 425, south of UAM.
A 63 year old Drew County man lost his life in a 2 vehicle, head-on collision, on Highway 425 South, near the old racetrack, at 5:44, Monday evening.

In the current school board election, where early voting is being held until 4:30, your vote really doesn’t count. Early voting began, Tuesday, with 29 votes cast, as of noon, today.

According to Lt. Jason Akers of the 10th Drug Task Force, a joint investigation between the 10th Drug Task Force and the McGehee Police Department resulted in the arrest of two McGehee women early this morning (September 14) on various drug charges. The two women are mother and daughter.
In August, MLive ran a story about a lawsuit questioning district 9 state representative candidate Jim Hall’s worthiness to seek election, based on a hot check arrest out of Conway.
The northbound lane of Highway 425 S., near the Conrad Street intersection, was blocked for quite a while, around 4 PM Friday, following a two vehicle collision involving a big-rig and a Lincoln Town Car.
As Monticello’s mayor and city government have been questioned for misappropriation and misspending, with rumors of corruption, 2 council members, who also serve on the budget committee, were searching through city records, Thursday, in the council room, without notifying media of their meeting.
I am appreciative of the swift disqualification of the 10th District judiciary.
