Remember the old “one of these things doesn’t belong here” line from Sesame Street?

That seems to be the case, as a loaded log truck was photographed turning from East Shelton St. onto S. Main, recently.

Cherry Street is open to log trucks.  Old Dermott is not.  Shelton  St. appears to fall into that “undecided” category.

Bennie Ryburn III took these photos of the I-69 construcion sites, over the weekend from his plane, and offered to share them with MLive readers.

This photo was taken on HWY 278, as combine was loading farm trailer.

Most folks have heard about the rare “albino deer,” in southeast Arkansas, but Alicia Maynard recently got a photo of an even more seldom site.

A couple of Monticello Youth have set up a produce stand on South Main Street.

It’s called “2 Boys & a Truck..Patch”.

They also put out a sign honoring our Veteran’s.

The displayed price of unleaded seems to have sky-rocketed, following a strong gust of wind (at least on the Walmart side of Murphy’s).

Sara West, daughter of Leslie Lowery, donated her hair to “Locks for Love”.

Sara will be 8 years old, soon, and wanted very much to help a child who has lost his or her hair during a long term illness.

Sara’s family and friends are all proud of her.

Karleigh Hoskins cut off 12 inches of her hair to Donate it to Locks of Love.

She wanted to help some little child who cannot grow hair..

She is the daughter of Roger “Bubba” and Kristine Hoskins.

Karleigh is 5 years old and will be in 1st grade this yearr at Drew Central.

As workers at the Ridgeway were removing old plaster inside of the “old pool hall” , they discovered this sign for Horse-Shoe Feeds.

The sign was likely painted between 1912 and 1929.

It  is located on the east wall of the HMWells building, which was an outside wall during that time period.

At 6:20, Saturday evening, the driver of this white sedan was stopped by MPD’s Rickey Fleming, who pointed out that they were traveling the wrong way on a one-way street, as they were driving east on on east McCloy Street, toward oncoming traffic, in both lanes.

It reminds us of the old joke, “but officer, I was only going one way.”

The driver was from Florida.
