Today is election day.   Vote in your usual pre-sinks, before 7:30 pm.

Changes to remember include Ward 1 is now voting at Ethel Hawkins center at Holmes Chapel on 278 East and Collins is now voting at Enon Baptist Church.

The Judicial Crisis League is using video content from a recent MonticelloLive post, in their attack ads on Judge Kenneth Hickson, a candidate for Arkansas Supreme Court justice.

So much for the folks that “judge the judges”, using good judgment.

US Representative candidate Randy Caldwell has been campaigning across the district, including multiple stops in Monticello.

Caldwell is shown here visiting with one of several residents who attended a local meeting, recently.

He is seeking the position currently held by Bruce Westerman  in Congress.

Democratic candidate for governor, Jared Henderson, held an informal meet & greet, Monday, at Panorama restaurant.

Henderson gave a short presentation, before visiting with individual voters. Topics of discussion and questions, included business, education, higher education, the state Supreme Court & dark money and regional boundaries,

With 2 1/2 days left to file as a non-partisan candidate for any city office, including mayor, alderman, city attorney and clerk, most candidates seem to be waiting til the last day to file.

This is the only advertised speaking forum for the candidates for 10th judicial district circuit judge, which includes Drew County.
