Jury duty has been canceled for Wednesday, May 18, but is still on for Friday, May 20.

Jurors who received a letter to serve on those two days will only need to report on Friday.

Jurors are reminded that early voting is underway at the courthouse, and the parking lot will be crowded. They are advised to arrive in plenty of time to find a spot and be seated in the courtroom by 9 a.m.

Jury duty has been canceled for Wednesday, February 16, and jurors will not need to report on that day. However, at this time, it is still scheduled for Thursday and Friday, February 17-18.

Jurors should call 460-6250 after 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday to find out if they need to report Thursday and Friday mornings.

Due to the phones being out, the jury panel is not able to contact the circuit clerks office to confirm today’s jury duty; however, court personnel are at the courthouse, so jurors need to report by 9 AM. (more…)

The jury orientation that was scheduled for Tuesday, August 31, has been canceled.

Jurors for this new panel, whose term will run from September 1 to December 31, will not need to report until they receive a letter from the circuit clerk’s office

According to Circuit Clerk Beverly Burks, jury duty for Thursday and Friday has been canceled.
