This morning, around 9 AM, the phone lines at City Hall will be down for approximately 30 minutes.

If you call and there is no answer, please wait a bit and call back.

We will be updating our phone lines which will be beneficial in making sure we are able to help our citizens.

Over the next few days, the city will be smoke
testing sewer lines.

If you see smoke coming out of the ground, please do not be alarmed.

They will be smoke testing from Main Street to 425 and from Barkada to Old Warren Rd.

These are necessary tests that will help us identify any sections in our sewer system that may be faulty.

A water leak at Conley Street is causing a water outage from McCloy Street to Oakland Street. The length of the Outage is not known, at this time. ,

At tonight’s city council meeting, the best way to handle the situation and who our next to lease should come from, will be discussed.

According to Chief Jason Akers, MPD’s Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Program, while recently implemented for law enforcement and search and rescue related operations, has shown to be helpful and reduce costs in other areas of city operations as well. (more…)

Well it is just before 7 PM. We are at the Sports Complex.

Several people are on the park, including food trucks, and crews are setting up the fireworks.

MLive had not heard of any rescheduling from city staff, so that means fireworks are set to begin after the National Snthem at 8:30.
