One Day Acts 1:8 Missions Experience will be partnering with local churches to spend five hours on Saturday October 7th serving in a variety of ministries.  All for Free!  Different events will be taking place in Monticello, Warren, Heritage, Star City, Dermott, McGehee, and Hamburg.  Including a Free Medical – Dental Clinic from 8am-3pm at First Baptist in Monticello.

Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate its Annual Women’s Day Program Sunday,October 1 @ 10:00 AM. The Speaker will be  Speaker is Evangelist Carolyn Winston Co-Pastor of Fellowship Christian Ministry, Pine Bluff,Arkansas.  Theme:” Women Straighten Up” Luke : 13:11-13. Chairperson Sherri Gillespie and Pastor D. J.Buffington invites the public to come and worship. Color for this event is Burnt Orange.

Shady Grove Baptist Church, shown here, as well as other groups at different times and different campuses, met and prayed for returning school students, staff, teachers and others involved in education.

Shady Grove met on the campuses of Monticello, Drew Central, and UAM and held prayer at each school.
