This year Monticello and Drew Central basketball teams are joining forces to fight hunger in Drew County. Instead of bringing gifts for the 12 days of Christmas, the schools are asking you to help with this mission. Students and community members are asked to bring the food items for each day. Although it is a competition between schools, the real opponent is hunger.
You can bring the designated food items to the school of your choice: Monticello High School or Drew Central High School. This drive will begin December 4 and end on December 19. The food totals and winning school will be announced at the Monticello vs. Drew Central basketball game on December 20. Thank you for all you help in this community effort to bounce out hunger.
