The UAM Sports Hall of Fame will welcome four new individual members in an induction ceremony October 14. UAM will add baseball star Corey Wood, football standouts Jerry Bingham and Art Kaufman, and softball sensation Julie Bowen. As the University of Arkansas at Monticello baseball and softball teams begin their 2021 home seasons, the Department of Athletics has announced the following guidelines that will be in place for all home UAM baseball and softball games.
The Rodeo Team at the University of Arkansas at Monticello is a member of the Ozark Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA). With Covid-19 precautions in place, the Ozark Region’s season began this weekend in Marshall, Missouri, at the Missouri Valley College Viking Stampede, where 15 teams competed. 

Kyle Lem, interim UAM Softball Head Coach during the 2019, has been named the full-time Head Softball Coach of the Cotton Blossoms announced Padraic McMeel, Director of Athletics. Kyle Lem was named interim softball in July 2018 and lead the Cotton Blossoms to a 25-27 overall record during the 2019 campaign.
Near the end of a spectacular regular season, the Weevil’s Baseball team has just clinched the GAC title.

Kevin Price, senior associate athletics director for external operations at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in Rapid City, S.D., has been named director of athletics at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
Four individuals and one team whose athletic exploits spanned eight decades have been selected for induction to the University of Arkansas at Monticello Sports Hall of Fame. 
Whitney DeSalvo scored a combined 135 points in two events to lead the University of Arkansas at Monticello women’s rodeo team to a first place finish at the University of Tennessee-Martin Rodeo last week. 

Former University of Arkansas at Monticello men’s basketball player Sharif Hudson has signed with the BG Aschersleben Tigers for the 2015-16 season.
