It has been just over three months since the body of Marquis Martin, who disappeared on February 9, was discovered north of Wilmar on March 7.

Marquis was a 26-year-old Drew Central  Elementary School employee, who also worked at McDonald’s.

Drew County Sheriff Mark Gober has occasionally issued a statement about the ongoing investigation, which hasn’t developed any substantial leads, at this point.

MLive spoke with Sheriff Gober earlier this week, where he stated interviews were still taking place, but nothing newsworthy has come up.

Due to rumors and allegations surrounding the case, we have contacted the Arkansas State Police and are posting multiple ways anyone with information in this case, or any other case, may contact law-enforcement on the city, county, or state level.

Thirty-three Arkansas State Police Trooper Recruits received their certified law enforcement certificates tonight during a graduation ceremony at the Arkansas State Capitol. The new troopers will report to their Highway Patrol Division assignments across the state next month.
