$150,000 Cash Bond Set for Parolee, Who Swam Bayou Bartholomew to Escape Arrest

Brooks, Jerry LOn Wednesday August 10th, at approximately 10:13 A.M., Sheriff Mark Gober received a call from a Drug Task Force agent that had attempted to make a traffic stop on Jerry Brooks, who had outstanding warrants at the time. When the vehicle stopped, Brooks fled and the agent noticed a hand gun in Brooks’ hand. (more…)
