Former US Sen. David Pryor, along with his wife, Barbara, and grandson, Adams Pryor, spent Wednesday morning in Monticello, they were campaigning for his son, current US Sen.  Mark Pryor, who is seeking re-election.

Saturday afternoon, Deer Creek Disc Golf, located behind Dollar General and the storage rentals, held their grand opening in ribbon-cutting.

Disc golf is a trend that’s growing nationwide, as evidenced hereby the number of black logo shirts in the group photo.
