At 11:35am, on October 13th, 2026 Monticello Fire Department Rescue 1 responded to a single vehicle accident with entrapment near 2700 block of Highway 425 North.

Upon arrival, Rescue crews used chainsaws to clear a path for paramedics. Pafford Air transported patient to Little Rock. The highway was shut down for approximately 30 minutes to allow the helicopter to land. DCSO and OEM also responded.
