According to the Monticello Chief of Police, Carlos Garcia, the victim of the homicide that occurred on January 1,2024, was Darren L. Myles, 26, of Monticello.

The Monticello Criminal Investigation Department has arrested two males, Charvez D. Jordan,24, and Saviun L. Robertson, 24 in connection to this ongoing case.

Charvez Jordan received a $300,000 bond and Saviun Robertson received a $250,000 bond. The investigation is still ongoing.
