Hurricane Update, Florence Could Have “Second Hand” Local Effects – Video

Although Arkansas doesn’t show up in the Hurricane Florence map, the effects will likely have an effect on our area.
A storm system of this size will certainly cause changes, although minor, to our weather pattern.
A greater change could be felt in our region, based on the probable disruption of distribution lines for freight, mail & groceries.
Regardless, the tremendous amount of national media coverage that Florence provides a great education opportunity, as we are beginning to see more “second hand” effects from tropical storm systems.
