Miracle League Update – Field Scheduled for Installation in August- Video

The concrete pad for the Miracle League Field has been poured, and has cured for the required 28 days.
Thursday, the Monticello Fire Dept. used their equipment to “flood the field” to confirm it has proper drainage, like regular sports fields.
The fence should be up by august 10, when a Pebbleflex may will be installed with markings on top of the pad
that look like regular baseball field.
The bleachers have also been ordered.
There are plans to add a plaza entrance, scoreboard landscaping
tentatively plan to have first game late September and league play this year, with 4-6 teams of 10-12 players
Contributions to Miracle League are still needed to help provide equipment, supplies and field maintenance.
The “Shooting for a Miracle” skeet shoot and “Deck the Diamond” auction fundraisers will continue in the future.
