This Happened to me first hand! I called 911 due to my husband having chest pains. They sent ambulance, I called back to find out where they were after 6 mins, I live 5 miles from town. They said they were not answering their call but they could hear the sirens, they told me they were by some road, and I said I don’t know that road, that is not near me. I hung up and called back after another 5 mins and they said they should be getting close, I said I don’t even hear the sirens. After 3 more minutes, I went to get the car to take my husband myself, they then pulled up coming from the opposit direction. They came up Barkada road from the direction of Wilmar! And as they drove up, I yelled hurry up. Did y’all get lost? they said yes, it took us down through Wilmar. Really! When am address is Barkada road!!!! Come on!!! Once we got to Baptist they took him straight to surgery and said if we had waited any longer my husband may not have made it. The ambulance needs to get with 911 for good directions too. I could have had him there in 5 mins and not been charged for the pick up from my house to Drew.
