Wreck Shuts Down Bolling St. Power Off Across Monticello
Published by Joe Burgess January 25th, 2008 in WRECKS, Weather.A late model Ford Mustang severed a light pole on Bolling St. earlier this morning. Entergy is working to replace the pole, and restore power to Monticello.
Monticello Police are working the accident, which sent the driver to the local hospital, and have Bolling St. closed from Main St. to Borchardt St. so crews can repair the light pole.
Electricicity to the main portion of Monticello is down at this point.
Tommy’s wrecker is shown hooking to the Mustang.

This accident made me count all of my blessings, and don’t take anything and anyone in life for granted. Some said, “I’m lucky”. But the good Lord was with me and my two children the whole time. We survived what should’ve been a fatal accident without any scrapes and or bruises. Thank you Lord!!!
