The square in general is a mess. The square is essentially made to be used as a round about, and there are 8 parking spots around the square. People repeatedly turn left at the commercial bank stop sign instead of merging into the lane that heads 278E. Traffic does not flow efficiently because of that. If everyone would merge like we are supposed to do traffic wouldn’t back up. Also, people park in the lane of the square and I’ve almost rear ended parked cars at night when they first started doing it. It’s ridiculous!
Repaint the right turn only markings, put up right turn sign’s with yellow flashing lights and warning signs if not followed. Start the sign’s and lights about 100yds before that intersection to give even big trucks time to move over. Don’t wait till there’s a bad wreck. Start giving warnings and tickets.
There is no indication until you are at the stop sign. A little to late then..
