More Weather Damage Photos

These photos were taken of what used to be the Gober’s camp, near Ozment Bluff,  Two adults and two children who had left Louisiana because of the impending severe weather, were in the cabin as the tree fell across it, pinning them inside.

The family was extricated destroyed building.  The blue bunk-bed, shown in the top photo, had someone in it when it collapsed, but the bed’s metal frame provided protection from the weight of the cabin’s walls and roof.

West Wood street near Hyatt Street was closed.

A large tree in Oakland Cemetary was blown down.

 The Shelton Street area was effected as well.

A large tree fell in City Park, Tuesday, near the north pavillion, on top of a chldren’s slide.

A tree is down at a residence on West Bolling,

Water iin the highway on HWY 425.

Parts of South Main were also partially under water.

    It was a bad storm, that’s for sure. I am fortunate that the flood damage did not affect me. I know several residents whose cars are damaged from water.
