Ward Davis to Perform at Main Street Bistro–Saturday Night

Monticello native Ward Davis, currently pursuing a song-writing and recording career in Nashville, will be the featured entertainment at First Presbyterian Church’s Main Street Bistro, July 26. Davis, always a crowd-pleaser, will bring his unique blend of original music and hit songs from Contemporary Country to Rock n’ Roll to Monticello in a one-night-only engagement.
“We are pleased to bring Ward back to Monticello,” said Frank Ferguson, music coordinator for Main Street Bistro. “Ward has had an exciting year, with a recording contract and more opportunities to write his own music. Ward is one of Bistro’s most popular acts. He always has a great show. I hope everyone will come out and enjoy Ward on Saturday.”
The menu for the evening will be BBQ chicken and summertime treats including watermelon, ice cream, lemonade and cookies. Meal service will begin at 6:30 p.m. Entertainment will begin at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $10 per person. Reservations are recommended. For reservations call 367-6883.
Main Street Bistro, a smoke-free, alcohol-free, listener-oriented venue, is an outreach ministry of First Presbyterian Church, located at 821 North Main Street, in Monticello.
