United Way of Drew County gives back! 

On Monday, the United Way Board presented Mayor Joe Rogers with checks to local sports teams. 

Each organization was given a check for $1,500 to be used for purchasing new equipment, uniforms, etc. for the kids on each team. 
 
The following organizations received this donation:
Monticello Babe Ruth League
Monticello Soccer League
Drew County Cal Ripken League
Monticello Drew County Swim Team
Monticello Softball League
American Legion
 
These organizations have been invited to apply for future funding from United Way beginning in August when open enrollment will begin. 
 
United Way Board Members are: Angela Case, Dorothy Sharp, Kelly Burton, Mary Whiting, Jeffrey Reynolds, and Vera Lang; Diane Kidwell, Heart of Arkansas United Way Representative
