The University of Arkansas at Monticello will hold cheerleader and mascot tryouts for the 2008-09 school year on Saturday, March 29 at 9 a.m. in Steelman Fieldhouse.

            Persons planning to compete in the tryouts must attend a mandatory clinic March 26-27 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in the fieldhouse. There are six female and six male positions available on next year’s squad plus one mascot position. Each squad member will receive at least a half-tuition scholarship.
